Key Responsibilities

  • •Join the Rail Civil Engineering team located in Leeds, Manchester or London and contribute to project delivery.
  • •Support progression to Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) and enhance CRE capabilities.
  • •Grow the team through bidding, line management and business improvement activities.
  • •Develop and grow in the role with mentoring to progress within WSP and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • •Prepare technical outputs (drawings, reports, specifications) to the quality standards of WSP and resolve civil engineering issues.

Key Requirements

  • •A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject accredited by the Engineering Council;
  • •Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or nearing Chartered status;
  • •Experience in delivering and managing all stages of multi-disciplinary engineering projects from initial studies through to detailed design;
  • •Working knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, British and European Standards, Eurocodes and Codes of Practice.
