Key Responsibilities

  • •Own enterprise-wide financial strategy and performance for Health & Welfare programs, including medical, dental, vision, and HSA.
  • •Lead financial modeling and forecasting (claims trend analysis, PEPM modeling, rate setting, and scenarios) to support enterprise decision-making.
  • •Manage benefits budgeting and multi-year cost planning in partnership with HR and Finance; perform variance analysis and corrective actions.
  • •Oversee billing, accounting, and reconciliation for Total Rewards functions, and manage vendor financial operations and controls (e.g., Anthem).
  • •Provide executive reporting and audit/compliance-ready financial materials; serve as the benefits financial subject-matter expert across stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in benefits administration and financial analysis, preferably in a large corporate environment.
  • •Demonstrated experience owning enterprise-level financial processes and managing high-dollar, high-volume operations.
  • •Strong understanding of health and welfare benefit plans and related compliance requirements.
  • •Experience working with brokers, actuaries, and external vendors; ability to direct vendor performance and influence senior leadership decisions.
  • •Above-average Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and familiarity with HRIS/benefits systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
