Job Summary

Conduct environmental contamination assessments and support remediation efforts, including plan reviews and technical report writing. Work with a collaborative, interdisciplinary team in Raleigh, delivering scientific analysis that compares findings to relevant studies and federal, state, and local regulations. Lead and support project work, manage technical/cost/schedule elements, and ensure field efforts and deliverables meet the AECOM Quality Management System. Balance in-person work with telework.

•Conduct phases of environmental projects and propose appropriate analytical methods and techniques.
•Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and compare findings to studies and applicable regulations for compliance.
•Provide advice and consulting services within scope of scientific knowledge and make recommendations based on analysis.
•Manage technical, cost, and schedule elements of project delivery and oversee quality of field efforts and deliverables under AECOM’s QMS.

Key Requirements

•BA/BS in Environmental Science (or related field) with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent education/experience.
•Valid U.S. Driver's License; must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review.
•Masters Degree in Environmental Science (or related field) is preferred.
•3+ years of experience working in an environmental consulting firm is preferred.
•OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and knowledge of federal/state/local regulations are preferred.
