Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Construction Manager in delivery of heavy civil projects in Southern Nevada.
  • •Supervise inspection staff and perform inspections to ensure conformance with rules, standards, codes, and permits.
  • •Collect, compile, and analyze construction-site and plan/design data; verify load calculations and resolve differences in plan/spec interpretation.
  • •Monitor project phasing and contractor work to support quality control and contract compliance, documenting progress and issues.
  • •Write technical reports and provide guidance/training to entry-level inspection staff, including attending pre-construction meetings and coordinating inspection activities.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •Minimum 7 years of relevant post-education experience with prior construction inspection experience.
  • •Familiarity with CCPW and NDOT specifications and construction requirements.
  • •Advanced knowledge of construction inspection principles and relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping.
  • •Ability to perform technical computations and inspections, and must pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening with a valid state driver’s license.
