Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate design intent and manufacturability; assess GD&T and component specs for transition to mass production
•Review design documents and specifications; collaborate with design team to finalize them
•Perform detailed DFM reviews of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications of components and assemblies
•Provide analysis and recommendations for feature and manufacturing cost tradeoffs during the design phase
•Identify manufacturing technologies relevant to new design concepts and advise the design team on best execution methods

Key Requirements

•BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with Manufacturing focus
•5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role including NPI or CM experience
•Experience manufacturing electro-mechanical products at scale (machined, cast, forged, PCBA, cables, plastics)
•Pro-E/Creo and/or SolidWorks proficiency
•Design skills including GD&T, design validation, and inspection
