Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead detailed DFM reviews and assess GD&T and component specifications for transition to mass production.
  • •Review design documents and specifications with the design team to finalize them.
  • •Provide analysis and recommendations for feature and cost tradeoffs during the design phase and develop cost models to guide decisions.
  • •Identify manufacturing technologies relevant to new design concepts and advise the design team on execution approaches.
  • •Collaborate with sourcing to develop manufacturing strategies, supplier selection, and ROI-driven launch plans.

Key Requirements

  • •BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with Manufacturing focus
  • •5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role including NPI or CM experience
  • •Experience manufacturing electro-mechanical products at scale (machined, cast, forged, PCBA, cables, plastics)
  • •Design skills including GD&T, design validation, and inspection
  • •Pro-E/Creo and/or SolidWorks proficiency
