Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead research, development, and implementation of high-volume manufacturing for high layer count PCBs.
  • •Conduct R&D on new PCB technologies, interconnect structures, and materials for product performance improvements and cost reductions.
  • •Own PCB technology and material roadmaps aligned to engineering requirements and next-generation product needs.
  • •Provide PCB technology support to engineering teams including signal integrity, PCB design, PCB sourcing, and operations engineering.
  • •Develop relationships with PCB manufacturers and laminate material suppliers; engage the supply base to ensure capability, readiness, and supplier qualification for new technologies and materials.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years in PCB design, fabrication, and materials.
  • •Extensive expertise across PCB technologies, including R&D of laminate materials, interconnect structures, chemistries, and fabrication processes.
  • •Deep understanding of the PCB supplier base and raw material sourcing ecosystem.
  • •Proven expertise in HDI and high-layer-count PCBs, materials, and signal-integrity challenges for high-speed (25 Gbps+) designs.
  • •Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with hardware and signal integrity engineering teams.
