Technical backbone of Lago’s GTM motion, focused on pre-sales support and post-sales implementation. You’ll tailor bespoke demos, run evaluations, and guide customers from first demo to go-live, collaborating with AE teams and founders in a fast-paced, remote-first European environment.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Lead pre-sales activities: conduct technical discovery, design bespoke demo environments, manage evaluations and cloud trials end-to-end
•Write clear deal debriefs and surface product gaps with engineering; create competitive analyses and battle cards
•Partner with AEs on commercial strategy to determine closings and necessary founder involvement
•Post-sales focus: onboard new customers, own implementation through go-live, and maintain customer relationships
•Identify expansion opportunities and provide feedback to Product/Engineering to inform roadmap prioritisation

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 60,000 - 90,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical pre-sales role in a developer tools, API-first, or infrastructure SaaS company
•Strong foundation with REST APIs, JSON, and SQL; comfortable working through integration architectures
•Proven experience running complex evaluations and POCs with enterprise or mid-market prospects
•Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English (French a plus)
•Track record of collaborating closely with AEs and founders in a fast-moving sales environment
