Key Responsibilities

  • •Support maintenance department operations by working with management and coworkers to improve safety, product quality, run time, and reduce machine downtime.
  • •Maintain accurate department records, develop and implement process improvements, train operators, and lead department meetings.
  • •Receive and execute maintenance assignments through work orders, PM schedules, blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions while following applicable codes and regulations.
  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant production machinery, support equipment, and building systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • •Support contractor management and assist the Engineering Manager with outsourced work, including work permits and safety reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years manufacturing work experience and/or 1 year as a Maintenance Technician ll, with training in Process Control & Instrumentation.
  • •High level proficiency in the mechanics and operation of maintenance equipment.
  • •Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and other written installation/repair instructions.
  • •Proficiency troubleshooting and repairing production machinery and systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic) using measuring/testing equipment and shop/power tools.
  • •Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform continuous standing and walking.
