Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as subject-matter expert, providing practical, commercially focused legal advice on digital regulations including EU AI Act, NIS2, CRA, CER and data-related legislation.
  • •Design, develop and continuously improve frameworks, governance, processes, playbooks, policies, controls and guidance with AI Governance and Information Security teams.
  • •Embed digital law requirements into day-to-day operations by partnering with stakeholders across functions and markets.
  • •Provide legal support for technology projects and vendor engagements, identifying and managing digital regulatory risk from the outset.
  • •Lead regulatory response for digital law matters, including incidents, regulatory notifications, risk assessments, and implementation of compliance obligations such as AI transparency and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Legal education and professional background.
  • •5–8+ years advising on regulatory matters such as EU privacy/data protection, AI and/or cybersecurity law in-house, at a law firm, or in consultancy.
  • •Translate complex legal requirements into practical advice, processes, and compliance approaches.
  • •Design and implement compliance processes in at least one area of digital law, and successfully embed them into business operations in a matrix organization.
  • •Experience training and building capability across diverse stakeholders, including technical and legal teams.
