Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain a safe work environment by complying with safety policies and procedures and using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • •Assist construction and paving crews with tasks such as shoveling/raking, running a wheelbarrow, and safely backing/dumping trucks into a paver.
  • •Signal operators of construction equipment to support alignment, movement, and materials handling with shovel.
  • •Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials; lifts, carries, and holds materials, tools, and supplies.
  • •Assist with placement and setup/removal of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices; follow daily task direction from the foreman.
