Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Develop and maintain understanding of clients’ financial needs using profiling and personal financial planning analysis; coordinate with advisors on investment accounts to support investment and asset allocation objectives.
  • •Monitor changing economic, legal, and financial planning and investment trends; act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients, their attorneys, and CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by acquiring new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and managing sales activity and pipeline in the bank’s contact management system.
  • •Partner with Truist internal IRM specialists and external centers of influence to provide an integrated client experience and drive business development while operating within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and training.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients across banking, investments, and/or retail lending.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, and investment management/asset allocation concepts, including retail credit and bank products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Maintain required securities licenses (SIE, FINRA Series 7, and 66) and applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, and Variable) or obtain them within 100–150 days; comply with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and NMLS background check requirements.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
