Job Summary

Assist designated machine operators and the production team across plant operations, including clean-up, yard and warehouse support, utilities, material handling, and maintaining a safe, orderly work area. Follow safety procedures and wear required safety gear, operate equipment or machinery as trained (including conveyors and forklifts), support loading/unloading and shipping/receiving documentation, and help maintain inventory and pallets during shift operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle repetitive/sequential tasks and assist operators or production team in maintenance, clean-up, yard work, warehouse, utilities, and material handling.
•Maintain a clean work area, clean machinery and conveyors, and remove debris and reusable scrap from production areas.
•Use safety gear, follow all safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately.
•Operate machinery/equipment as trained (including conveyors, hoppers, bagging/sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, and vehicles) and assist with shift production setup.
•Support loading/unloading, shipping/receiving documents, packaging/labeling, stockpile handling, and maintaining/verifying/counting product inventory.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and follow production and safety procedures.
•Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
•Able to pass internal certification/training, including lockout/tagout procedures.
•Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs and demonstrate good attendance.
