Job Summary

Lead cross-functional supply chain planning to enable production flow and launch manifest support for Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, Dragon, USDV, and Starfall. Partner with engineering and manufacturing on material requirements planning, purchasing, supplier delivery management, dock-to-stock coordination, and inventory levels. Own sourcing and cost strategies, evaluate technical feasibility, manage continuity of supply, and create POs while driving on-time, cost-targeted execution in an in-house integration environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute supply chain planning strategies to support production flow and launch manifest for Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, Dragon, USDV, and Starfall.
•Own material requirements planning, purchasing, supplier delivery management, dock-to-stock coordination, and inventory levels management.
•Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies, including should-cost models and cost reduction plans.
•Manage the supply base from concept to end of life to ensure continuity of supply and on-time material delivery; create POs and resolve invoices.
•Liaise between supply chain and engineering for supplier/down-selection during NPI and guide junior staff with strategic support as needed.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s with 5+ years, or 9+ years; experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, or operations/supply chain management.
•Experience in material or production planning and supply chain management.
•Experience with material cost control and master production scheduling.
•Contract negotiation experience.
•Demonstrated ability to plan and execute purchasing of commodity products and 3rd party services while working with product development, quality, finance, and sales.
