Key Responsibilities

  • •Set the strategic direction for the Innovation and Technology Partnerships team to prioritize near-term commercial opportunities and future-facing innovations for the payments ecosystem.
  • •Identify and prioritize high-potential partnership areas across fintech, Web3, digital platforms, and emerging technology sectors.
  • •Co-create, pilot, and scale new capabilities with internal and external stakeholders to address client needs and unlock new payment flows.
  • •Build a strong business development engine by equipping internal teams with sales narratives, partnership frameworks, and go-to-market support.
  • •Scan the market for emerging trends, translate insights into actionable innovation priorities, and represent Visa with founders and ecosystem partners to deliver measurable outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Define and execute partnership strategies in fast-evolving technology landscapes, aligning opportunities with Visa’s market priorities and regional strategy.
  • •Translate emerging technologies and business models (e.g., digital wallets, embedded finance, stablecoins, platform-based commerce) into relevant payment use cases and partnership opportunities.
  • •Demonstrate end-to-end solution development and commercialization experience from ideation and co-creation to pilot and scale.
  • •Provide strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management across product, sales, advisory, risk, and legal teams to deliver integrated partnership outcomes.
  • •Bring track record in partnership development and deal execution, with commercial acumen and executive presence; 15+ years relevant industry experience. Business development and B2B payments experience highly desirable.
