Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and instrumentation systems, including communication systems, sensors, transducers, control equipment, and marine electronic devices.
  • •Conduct calibration, functional testing, and performance verification of instrumentation, navigation, and communication systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • •Diagnose and resolve faults in electronic circuits, components, control systems, and PCB assemblies to keep dredging and support craft operations running.
  • •Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new electronic and instrumentation systems onboard vessels and in workshops.
  • •Maintain technical documentation such as technical reports, maintenance logs, calibration records, and support spare parts and procurement processes to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • •5–7 years of relevant experience in marine, dredging, or heavy-industrial environments (preferred).
  • •Strong knowledge of electronics systems, instrumentation, control circuits, PCB-level troubleshooting, and marine navigation/communication systems.
  • •Experience with PLC systems and marine electronic equipment (advantage).
  • •Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FANR and TDRA is preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office with knowledge of AutoCAD and Oracle.
