Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as Technical Lead for DCS/ESD/F&G control system projects, owning technically correct solutions within agreed schedule and budget.
  • •Develop functional design specifications, architecture/designs, and BOM; carry out control system hardware/software detail design including HMI and application development.
  • •Independently manage integration and testing activities including FAT at the customer factory, plus site commissioning, cut-overs, and loop checking.
  • •Interpret customer requirements and engineering documentation (RFQ, specifications, P&IDs, control narratives, logic diagrams) and develop templates/standards for complex loops.
  • •Monitor and control work scope vs. project plan with effective change control; ensure solutions meet functionality/quality/standards and handle quality checks, site visits, and handover to the LSS team.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 12+ years of hands-on experience in DCS / Safety PLC / PLC detail engineering, testing, and commissioning (preferably Honeywell systems).
  • •Experience with third-party control system interfaces such as Modbus TCP/RTU and OPC (UA, DA, HDA, A&E), plus ProfiNet/Profibus.
  • •Knowledge of fieldbus and instrumentation protocols including HART and Foundation Fieldbus, and advanced L2/L3 node capabilities (alarm, history, asset, network management).
  • •Networking and control-node knowledge including TCP/IP protocols, switch/router, and domain controller configuration; virtualization of control nodes is an advantage.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (BE/B Tech) in Instrumentation or Electronics.
