Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, provisions, and reclassifications.
  • •Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving reconciling items accurately and promptly.
  • •Support cash flow forecasting and reporting by analysing movements and communicating key insights.
  • •Prepare Record to Report information for internal and external reporting requirements.
  • •Maintain compliance with group policies and support internal controls over financial reporting, identifying improvements to finance processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Part-qualified accountant actively studying toward ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • •Experience with month-end close activities and balance sheet accounting, including preparing reconciliations and supporting audits.
  • •Confident using Excel for pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
  • •Detail-focused, organised, and able to prioritise to meet accurate deadlines.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and explain financial movements effectively; experience with SAP, BPC, IFRS, shared services, retail, or FMCG is beneficial but not essential.
