Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for safe deployment and monitoring of generative AI systems.
  • •Develop systems to detect, respond to, and mitigate misuse and safety incidents in AI-generated content.
  • •Collaborate with ML engineers, T&S policy, operations, and research teams to align models with safety principles.
  • •Assess and remediate real-time safety risks from emerging AI capabilities.
  • •Prototype and productionize classifiers, filters, audits, and feedback loops for high-risk or novel model outputs, and participate in safety evaluations and experimentation.

Salary: USD 187,741 - 316,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 2 years of related work experience.
  • •2 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed backend software services using object-oriented/high-level languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C++ for production environments.
  • •2 years of experience designing and implementing scalable distributed backend systems using relational or NoSQL databases for high-volume online services.
  • •2 years of experience designing and implementing scalable data processing pipelines for high-volume datasets using distributed processing technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Hive.
  • •2 years of experience integrating machine learning or large language model inference services into backend systems, and using agile methodology across the software development lifecycle.
