Job Summary

Serve as a key legal advisor for TikTok’s U.S. immigration programs within the Global Corporate Services Legal team. Partner with internal immigration teams and HR stakeholders to guide immigration compliance, manage external counsel, and coordinate across legal and cross-functional groups. Lead preparedness for USCIS site visits and government investigations, monitor regulatory changes, and drive operational process improvements for large-scale workforce transitions and complex immigration cases.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide immigration compliance and risk strategy guidance to internal immigration teams and legal stakeholders for workforce planning and risk mitigation.
•Review and validate external immigration counsel advice to ensure alignment with business interests and compliance posture.
•Lead preparation and response for USCIS site visits, FDNS audits, and government investigations.
•Coordinate cross-functional risk assessments with partners including Tax, Export Control, and Information Security for immigration-related matters.
•Monitor U.S. immigration law and enforcement trends, advise on regulatory changes, and design operational processes (tools, templates, process maps, SOPs, training) to improve immigration program operations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree plus a Juris Doctorate (or equivalent) from an ABA-accredited or international accredited law school.
•Experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house.
•Extensive U.S. employment-based immigration experience, including non-immigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, TN) and green card petitions (I-140, EB-1, PERM).
•Experience with immigration compliance audits, site visits, or government investigations.
•Proven ability to advise on large-scale immigration programs or corporate restructuring involving workforce mobility.
