Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, coach, and develop a team of multidisciplinary metrology engineers; provide support to calibration technicians and test equipment maintenance personnel.
  • •Manage staffing, training, performance development, succession planning, and labor forecasting for the metrology section.
  • •Maintain and improve processes for equipment classification, asset lifecycle management, scheduling, traceability, and documentation.
  • •Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, the Raytheon Quality Management System, and applicable government/industry requirements.
  • •Coordinate with engineering, operations, quality, and program teams to ensure test readiness and minimize downtime; oversee supplier performance for calibration/repair vendors.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience with test equipment maintenance, product test, or quality in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Leadership experience in a technical environment.
  • •Ability to obtain an interim Secret U.S. government security clearance prior to start date.
  • •Strong knowledge of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and test instrumentation (preferred).
