Job Summary

Support rail and transit projects by developing and maintaining hazard management processes, hazard logs, risk assessments, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain hazard management processes, hazard logs, risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and safety requirements.
•Collaborate with design, Human Factors, RAM+S, and other project teams to define, document, and track risk control actions and safety requirements.
•Perform hazard identification and analysis activities using approaches such as HAZID, SHA, FTA, and FMECA, including risk matrices.
•Review safety evidence to demonstrate compliance with safety requirements, standards, and regulations.
•Contribute to preparation of System Safety Reports and Safety Case artefacts and related technical documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Functional Safety, Industrial, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or related).
•2–5 years of experience in system, functional, or technical safety (internship/co-op may be considered).
•Competency in functional and technical safety, including hazard identification and analysis.
•Experience or familiarity with qualitative, semi-quantitative, and quantitative risk assessment methods such as HAZID, SHA, FTA, and FMECA.
•Good technical writing, communication, and analytical skills to prepare clear safety documentation.
