Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain hazard management processes, hazard logs, risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and safety requirements.
  • •Collaborate with design, Human Factors, RAM+S, and other project teams to define, document, and track risk control actions and safety requirements.
  • •Perform hazard identification and analysis activities using approaches such as HAZID, SHA, FTA, and FMECA, including risk matrices.
  • •Review safety evidence to demonstrate compliance with safety requirements, standards, and regulations.
  • •Contribute to preparation of System Safety Reports and Safety Case artefacts and related technical documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Functional Safety, Industrial, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or related).
  • •2–5 years of experience in system, functional, or technical safety (internship/co-op may be considered).
  • •Competency in functional and technical safety, including hazard identification and analysis.
  • •Experience or familiarity with qualitative, semi-quantitative, and quantitative risk assessment methods such as HAZID, SHA, FTA, and FMECA.
  • •Good technical writing, communication, and analytical skills to prepare clear safety documentation.
