Geologist

Manage geological data and contribute to the site geological model for an underground steelmaking coal mine. Perform regular underground longwall and development mapping, auditing, and reporting on geological issues. Provide geological inputs for surface and underground drilling and interpret borehole data. Maintain geological, geotechnical, borehole, coal quality, gas desorption, and hydrogeological databases, and support permit-to-mine documentation, safety, and efficient production planning.
