Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, disassemble, clean, check, repair, rework, replace, fabricate, assemble, install, and adjust building components and plant/automotive/GSE equipment.
  • •Perform plumbing and millwright assignments, and weld materials as needed for maintenance and repairs.
  • •Carry out general building maintenance and construction work, including maintaining locks and keys and digital security access doors and gates.
  • •Complete GSE/facilities tasks such as hazardous waste clean-up, part requests, paperwork/report completion, shift clean-up, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks.
  • •Coordinate with vendors and other personnel to accomplish work tasks, follow safety procedures and government regulations (DOT/FAA/TSA), and complete required trainings.

Key Requirements

  • •High School diploma or GED.
  • •Thirty-six months (36) or more journeyman experience as an electrician.

  • •Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks for unescorted access privileges to SIDA areas (if applicable) and be able to secure required airport authority/US Customs security badges (if applicable).
