Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement, schedule, and monitor regular backups for Active Directory, domain controllers, LDAP, and other directory management systems.
  • •Develop, document, and test DR plans and procedures for directory management systems, including failover strategies and business continuity.
  • •Perform data restoration from backups and troubleshoot issues with corrupted or lost AD objects and related applications.
  • •Conduct regular drills and testing to validate backup integrity and recovery processes against RTO and RPO targets.
  • •Implement backup security measures, encryption, and compliance with data protection policies; maintain documentation and use monitoring/reporting tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Quest Recovery Manager for AD FE, Windows Bare Metal Backup, Rubrik) and related directory tools.
  • •Experience with storage platforms (SAN/NAS, object storage) and virtualization (VMware, Cloud, Hyper-V).
