Job Summary

Ensure resilience and continuity for the organization’s Directory Management environment by implementing and monitoring backups for Active Directory and related systems. Develop, document, and test disaster recovery (DR) plans and recovery procedures, then execute restorations and troubleshoot issues impacting AD objects and authentication. Validate backup integrity against RTO/RPO targets, secure and encrypt backup data, and partner with other IT teams to maintain reliable infrastructure and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement, schedule, and monitor regular backups for Active Directory, domain controllers, LDAP, and other directory management systems.
•Develop, document, and test DR plans and procedures for directory management systems, including failover strategies and business continuity.
•Perform data restoration from backups and troubleshoot issues with corrupted or lost AD objects and related applications.
•Conduct regular drills and testing to validate backup integrity and recovery processes against RTO and RPO targets.
•Implement backup security measures, encryption, and compliance with data protection policies; maintain documentation and use monitoring/reporting tools.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years of experience with a university degree, or 5 years with an advanced degree.
•Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
•Experience with enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Quest Recovery Manager for AD FE, Windows Bare Metal Backup, Rubrik) and related directory tools.
•Experience with storage platforms (SAN/NAS, object storage) and virtualization (VMware, Cloud, Hyper-V).
•Experience with disaster recovery principles, business continuity, and RTO/RPO targets.
