Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage multi-disciplined engineering and project delivery teams, including a hybrid blend of in-person and remote team members.
  • •Anticipate and resolve project delivery, technical, and client challenges; determine technical objectives and requirements.
  • •Manage and monitor contractual obligations for engineering projects of various sizes and complexities.
  • •Prepare project and engineering work plans, budgets, and schedules for studies, detailed design, and construction support.
  • •Monitor cost, schedule, and quality performance; manage scope and change management, lead project meetings, and supervise project reports and project controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant industry experience OR a Technical Diploma and 10+ years’ relevant industry experience (ideally with an engineering firm).
  • •Demonstrated experience pursuing and winning opportunities in Canada with a strong reputation in the Canadian mining market.
  • •Project Manager responsibility for at least three (3) prefeasibility or feasibility studies with capital value +$100M.
  • •Project experience in both open pit and underground mining sectors is an advantage.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
