Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop electrical systems for mining machine LV panels and 24V DC control systems.
  • •Create and oversee electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layout drawings.
  • •Integrate electrical systems with mechanical and hydraulic subsystems and operator interfaces.
  • •Develop system architecture, including PLC I/O signal lists and CAN bus layouts.
  • •Coordinate global R&D teams, prepare documentation, lead design reviews, and ensure compliance with electrical standards and functional safety requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •10–15 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering, ideally in mining or heavy industrial equipment.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • •Proficiency with PLM and design tools such as Teamcenter, AutoCAD Electrical, Creo, and MATLAB.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical power and control systems for mobile machinery, including LV panels and 24V DC control systems.
  • •Experience with diesel engine control systems and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) controls; familiarity with electrical protection and functional safety practices.
