Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop electrical systems for mining machine LV panels and 24V DC control systems.
•Create and oversee electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layout drawings.
•Integrate electrical systems with mechanical and hydraulic subsystems and operator interfaces.
•Develop system architecture, including PLC I/O signal lists and CAN bus layouts.
•Coordinate global R&D teams, prepare documentation, lead design reviews, and ensure compliance with electrical standards and functional safety requirements.

Key Requirements

•10–15 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering, ideally in mining or heavy industrial equipment.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
•Proficiency with PLM and design tools such as Teamcenter, AutoCAD Electrical, Creo, and MATLAB.
•Strong knowledge of electrical power and control systems for mobile machinery, including LV panels and 24V DC control systems.
•Experience with diesel engine control systems and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) controls; familiarity with electrical protection and functional safety practices.
