Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general labor on a road construction project or on a production crew, supporting heavy highway work.
  • •Handle tasks such as shoveling, raking, moving materials, and setting and stripping concrete forms.
  • •Assist with concrete work including pouring concrete and using tools to vibrate as required.
  • •Support traffic control activities on the jobsite.
  • •Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety regulations throughout the project.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and meet physical examination requirements (walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel).
  • •Knowledge of basic tools and their uses, plus basic math and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication).
  • •One year of verifiable work experience in heavy highway construction.
  • •Prior experience with asphalt preferred.
