Job Summary

Engineer Surveyor responsible for hands-on inspections of pressure, compressed air and steam plant at client sites across Croydon and surrounding regions, evaluating installations for compliance and preparing examination reports. You’ll work with the Engineer Surveyor Team, travel within your local area, and contribute to reporting and regulatory adherence from day one.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct hands-on inspections of plant and equipment at client sites, including factories, warehouses and other commercial premises.
•Collaborate with your Engineer Surveyor Team, under the supervision of a Senior Operations Team Leader.
•Prepare examination reports using electronic reporting to ensure fast and efficient delivery to clients.
•Assess a wide range of installations, anticipate problems and help clients ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
•Examine equipment such as pressure vessels and boilers as part of Allianz Engineering responsibilities.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Must-have: Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical Engineering) or actively working towards an equivalent credential.
•Experience with pressure, steam and compressed air plant in manufacturing, QA, maintenance or site inspection contexts.
•Strong customer interaction skills, with good oral and written communication.
•Full UK driving licence and ability to travel within a local work area.
•Proficient in using tablets/smartphones for reporting and documentation.
