Key Responsibilities

  • •Embed as the product marketing lead for the Community News Product team, defining the role of commenting, community features, and sharing.
  • •Partner with editors and newsroom leadership to increase journalist participation in comments and community spaces aligned to editorial values.
  • •Gather insight from reader and reporter perspectives to validate opportunities, building segmentation frameworks and personas.
  • •Create positioning and messaging and develop go-to-market strategies and campaigns for evolving community and sharing features.
  • •Monitor KPIs and run message tests/experiments, combining quantitative and qualitative feedback to drive engagement and growth; collaborate across News product teams.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years in marketing, product marketing, or product management, including at least 2 years of insights-driven go-to-market experience.

  • •Experience working in newsroom/editorial environments and driving audience engagement for journalism or community features.
  • •Proven ability partnering with editorial or audience teams to design and promote community/social experiences that deepen engagement.
