Job Summary

Serve as the strategic HR business partner for the R&D organization, partnering with the Head of R&D and senior engineering leadership to build and embed people strategy during a major shift to an AI-native intelligence platform. Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and change management, evolve technical career frameworks and leveling, and use people analytics to diagnose organizational health, retention risks, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of R&D and senior leadership to build and embed people strategy supporting the transformation to an intelligence company.
•Lead organizational design and change management across R&D as teams evolve to new operating models and operating rhythms.
•Drive the people side of AI transformation, including evolving career frameworks and leveling for AI-native development.
•Own workforce planning and talent strategy for R&D, including succession planning, retention, and headcount decisions with Finance.
•Coach senior technical leaders on organizational health, performance management, team effectiveness, and employee relations, using people analytics to identify trends and risks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 149,000 - 283,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of progressive HR/People experience, including 5+ years as a strategic HRBP supporting engineering/R&D or other deeply technical global orgs in high-growth technology companies.
•Experience scaling an R&D organization through rapid growth, including evolving roles and structures and building people infrastructure for a fast-growing business.
•A builder’s mindset to create frameworks, programs, and approaches from scratch rather than relying on a playbook.
•Deep understanding of how technical organizations operate and how AI is reshaping work, including engineering workflows and platform vs. product team structures.
•Executive presence, strong analytics, and influence to coach leaders, drive action using people data, and navigate complex, high-stakes situations.
