Job Summary

Lead internal IT audit engagements within Visa’s Global Internal Audit team, executing risk-based assurance and advice on the effectiveness of Visa’s risk and control environment. Perform audit fieldwork, assess control design and operating effectiveness, manage documentation and status reporting, and partner with client management to explain scope, evaluate findings with professional skepticism, and support Management Action Plans. Contribute to audit innovation using AI, data analytics, automation, and continuous auditing while staying current on IT and business risk trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute audit fieldwork, including testing the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
•Serve as a key contact with client management, communicating audit process and scope and keeping management apprised of progress, issues, and results.
•Assist in internal audit innovation activities such as AI, advanced data analytics, audit process automation, and continuous auditing.
•Assist with engagement risk assessment, planning, and audit scope development, including developing the audit work program for efficient testing of key controls.
•Document test results in work papers and inform audit management of project status and results, supporting Management Action Plans and testing corrective actions where appropriate.

Key Requirements

•5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (or at least 2 years with an advanced degree, or 0 years with a PhD).
•3-6 years of technical experience in one or more domains such as information security, databases, network technology, cloud/virtualized environments, IBM mainframe, or Hadoop.
•Experience working on audit project teams in a complex operational and regulatory environment with mainframe, distributed, and network technology platforms.
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
•Experience evaluating system controls for complex business applications.
