Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight of contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards under the USACE 3-Phase inspection program.
  • •Document compliance to construction standards and specifications, including field observations, daily reports, and field measurements/computations.
  • •Participate in technical review of submittals and development plans to ensure conformity with USACE standards and specifications.
  • •Document construction observations and inspections, including discrepancy notices for noncompliant items, and develop/publish punchlists as required.
  • •Attend construction progress meetings and help resolve conflicts with construction installation; provide construction photographs and support tests/demonstrations/field instructions.

Key Requirements

  • •HS plus 10+ years of relevant experience in construction practices, procedures, and testing on large vertical DoD construction projects.
  • •US citizenship required for the project.
  • •Must pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
  • •Thorough knowledge of applicable electrical code, including the NEC, plus understanding of electrical theory, wiring methods, grounding and bonding, overcurrent protection, load calculations, and electrical safety.
  • •Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications (including one-line diagrams) and related installation/submittal documentation.
