•Provide oversight of contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards under the USACE 3-Phase inspection program.
•Document compliance to construction standards and specifications, including field observations, daily reports, and field measurements/computations.
•Participate in technical review of submittals and development plans to ensure conformity with USACE standards and specifications.
•Document construction observations and inspections, including discrepancy notices for noncompliant items, and develop/publish punchlists as required.
•Attend construction progress meetings and help resolve conflicts with construction installation; provide construction photographs and support tests/demonstrations/field instructions.

Key Requirements

•HS plus 10+ years of relevant experience in construction practices, procedures, and testing on large vertical DoD construction projects.
•US citizenship required for the project.
•Must pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
•Thorough knowledge of applicable electrical code, including the NEC, plus understanding of electrical theory, wiring methods, grounding and bonding, overcurrent protection, load calculations, and electrical safety.
•Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications (including one-line diagrams) and related installation/submittal documentation.
