Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform detailed design of low to extra-high voltage substations, including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, and station physical layouts.
  • •Develop sections/elevations, cable and conduit plans, ground grid design, foundation and structural plans/details, and control enclosure and lightning protection plans.
  • •Create yard lighting plans and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • •Support QA/QC for client deliverables and adhere to client standards and processes while working individually or in a team.
  • •Contribute to transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions; travel occasionally.

Key Requirements

  • •BSEE (BS Electrical Engineering) or BSEET (BS Electrical Engineering Technology) degree, preferably with a power option from an accredited university.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical engineering to build on.
  • •Good written and oral communication skills to work with internal teams and external client personnel.
  • •Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship.
  • •0–1 years of experience.
