Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute Advanced Process Control/plant wide optimizer projects (assessment, kickoff, pre-test, plant test, design, modeling, configuration, installation, commissioning, and post-audit).
  • •Implement RMPCT advanced control/plant wide optimizer and Control Performance Monitor technologies as Lead Consultant/Engineer.
  • •Perform APC/plant wide optimizer studies and proof-of-concepts/trial evaluations, and provide user training.
  • •Review economic targets for advanced process controllers and incorporate changes, including new economic indicators and controller objectives.
  • •Identify controller configuration modifications (variables/constraints), tune regulatory control loops in DCS, and lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in refining/petrochemical and MMM industry.
  • •Background in chemical engineering principles and operations.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory control and advanced control, including optimization principles and implementing global optimization programs.
  • •Knowledge of Advanced Process Control/plant wide optimizer, DCS and real-time database technologies.
  • •Strong communication and writing skills, plus ability to maintain good working relationships with customers.
