Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage the site’s environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to protect employees and ensure regulatory compliance.
•Drive safety culture through employee engagement, leadership coaching, behavioral safety initiatives, and EHS training.
•Develop, implement, and execute EHS annual objectives and improvement plans, including strategies for new/revised policies and regulations.
•Manage environmental permits and program requirements, and lead the ISO-14001 program to maintain site certification.
•Conduct audits and inspections, lead incident investigations, track EHS KPIs, maintain EHS records, and coordinate corrective/preventive actions with operations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 88,100 - 163,700 annually

Key Requirements

•BS/MS in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering (EHS specialization or related) and at least 5 years EHS experience in a manufacturing setting (food industry preferred), or 9+ years similar experience without a degree.
•Preferred professional certifications (ASP, CSP, CIH, etc.).
•In-depth working knowledge of EHS regulations including OSHA and EPA, with state/local EHS knowledge preferred.
•Experience leading incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action programs.
•Ability to manage regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance programs, and analyze EHS metrics to drive performance improvements.
