Key Responsibilities

  • •Accountable for the holistic relationship between Capital One and assigned supplier categories across the end-to-end third party life cycle (Due Diligence through Offboarding), ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • •Serve as the Category Manager for third party execution, including building supplier relationships, managing risks, negotiating contracts, and improving effectiveness.
  • •Ensure comprehensive oversight of all suppliers and services within assigned categories and collaborate with enterprise, customer, legal, and Risk/Governance functions.
  • •Shape, develop, and execute strategic supplier plans aligned with business intent using market data, competitor information, and supplier business knowledge.
  • •Manage team deliverables to third party management policies and participate in management forums, continuous improvement, and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 7 years of experience in third party management, procurement, or supply chain management within the financial services industry, including process and risk management.
  • •At least 7 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment to manage business and stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • •Mastery in supplier/third party management with expertise in commercial, risk management, analytical, and problem resolution skills across assigned categories.
  • •Proven ability to create, develop, and execute supplier strategies that account for internal and external market factors.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience applying OSFI Guideline B-10 and E-21 requirements in a regulated financial services environment.
