Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate strategy development, positioning and messaging for earned media, including approved press releases, media advisories, statements and talking points.
  • •Identify and develop proactive online newsroom content combining business narratives and creative storytelling.
  • •Build and nurture relationships to understand company business initiatives and brand differentiators.
  • •Design coordinated communications campaigns across digital and social channels and analyze impact and outcomes.
  • •Collaborate on timely media responses for inquiries and support unanticipated events, sensitive issues and critical incidents, including executive speaker bureau content and spokesperson support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in strategic communications, public relations, journalism, media relations or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
  • •Demonstrated experience in public relations, media relations and/or crisis management.
  • •Experience handling digital and social media channels, including bloggers and traditional print and broadcast media.
  • •Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
