Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate production equipment for welding and fabrication of products, including setting up and proficiently operating welding equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot welding and machine problems and ensure proper identification and tagging of shop orders.
  • •Retrieve/enter data into the system and ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
  • •Weld components based on print specifications and work according to AWS weld symbols.
  • •Perform 5S and Continuous Improvement activities and maintain components and supplies as required.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •1+ year of MIG/TIG welding experience and AWS Weld Certified.
  • •1+ year using blueprints (AWS weld symbols) and simple measuring tools.
  • •Solid math and the ability to read blueprints and follow directions accurately.
  • •Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33–66%) and up to 75 lbs occasionally, and stand for eight hours while performing repetitious tasks.
