Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, plan, implement, and oversee classified and unclassified MTC WAN/LAN networks supporting voice, data, and video services.
  • •Manage integration of MTC network usage with external networks owned by other organizations, including NIPR, SIPR, and tactical networks.
  • •Configure, document, test, troubleshoot, and update internal simulation network documentation and devices.
  • •Apply cybersecurity compliance activities including system updates/patches and SRG/STIGs, and support access control configuration.
  • •Monitor network performance, conduct scheduled backups and recovery testing, and provide troubleshooting and resolution for network issues.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant years of experience.
  • •Minimum 5 years of related experience in network architecture design, implementation, and management.
  • •Advanced knowledge of network planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance, including LAN/WAN and services such as DNS and DHCP.
  • •Must understand and apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology and Certification & Accreditation process, including applying network patches and STIGs.
  • •SEC+ required; CCNA preferred, plus experience with Cisco routers/switches and tactical networks.
