Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, plan, implement, and oversee classified and unclassified MTC WAN/LAN networks supporting voice, data, and video services.
  • •Manage external network integration for MTC use of networks owned by external organizations, including NIPR, SIPR, and tactical networks.
  • •Configure, document, test, troubleshoot, and update internal simulation network documentation, including Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • •Maintain cybersecurity compliance by applying system updates, quarterly patches/IAVAs, and SRG/STIGs, including access control list configuration.
  • •Execute RMF Certification and Accreditation activities, including reviewing and updating network requirements for accuracy and doctrinal compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years in network architecture design, implementation, and management.
  • •Secret clearance is required; able to obtain Top Secret is required.
  • •SEC+ certification required and must meet DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Computing Environment (CE) requirements for IAT II.
  • •Strong knowledge of network hardware/software and technology integration across LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, storage, and backups.
  • •Experience applying Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology and executing Certification & Accreditation tasks, including network patches and STIGs.
