•Work with an assigned branch office to ensure awareness of home loan products.
•Handle branch referrals and provide appropriate follow-up.
•Develop referral contacts (realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts).
•Interview borrowers, analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness, and take borrower applications.
•Collect required documentation, use daily rates/credit reports/DU responses, and deliver the loan package to the processor; maintain customer service and attend lending meetings.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus 4 years related experience and/or training, with 2 years related management experience (or an equivalent combination).
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
•Ability to analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness.
•Maintain knowledge of available loan products, processing procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
•Ability to communicate effectively with groups and manage borrower application processes.
