Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Contract Administrator on site and deliver field inspection services for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • •Document construction progress, quantities, deficiencies, testing, and site conditions via daily reports, photographs, measurements, and record information.
  • •Collaborate with contractors, municipalities, consultants, and WSP project teams to administer construction contracts and manage changes while ensuring alignment with contract documents.
  • •Monitor materials, installation methods, quality controls, environmental requirements, and health and safety practices to support compliant infrastructure.
  • •Contribute field insight to contract administration, including progress payment support, change documentation, deficiency management, substantial performance, warranty reviews, and project closeout.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience inspecting municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • •Experience inspecting municipal water and wastewater construction across the Greater Toronto Area, including underground linear infrastructure, chambers, pumping stations, treatment facilities, or rehabilitation projects.
  • •College diploma in civil, environmental, construction, or water resources engineering technology (or equivalent education and field experience).
  • •Contract administration experience with daily records, quantity verification, progress payment support, change documentation, requests for information, deficiency tracking, substantial performance, and closeout.
  • •Working knowledge of Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications and Drawings, including construction sequencing, materials testing, quantity tracking, and record drawing requirements.
