Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialized technical input for studies and design in civil engineering areas of expertise.
  • •Lead civil design and analysis work for tailings storage facilities and multi-disciplinary mining projects, including water management and drainage/civil designs.
  • •Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, including stormwater management design and drainage-related engineering.
  • •Serve as lead engineer or discipline lead, presenting complex solutions to clients and providing independent technical reviews with sign-off on work.
  • •Develop project proposals and provide direction/mentoring to other technical staff, including producing estimates, plans, schedules, and engineering deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 8 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • •Ability to get a Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, or Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) License within 6 months of employment.
  • •Demonstrated progressive experience in civil design, construction documentation, stormwater evaluation/design, and construction monitoring/operations.
