Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and direct live and taped news television broadcasts
  • •Code rundowns for all broadcasts using iNews
  • •Work with editorial and production personnel to create and execute newscasts using an automated production control system
  • •Give direction and timing to talent and other technicians on broadcasts
  • •Perform Director and Director Assist duties as required, including weekly disaster recovery training

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in television directing in a live news environment
  • •Minimum 3 years working with and knowledge of television production equipment
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience with computer applications monitoring multiple screens and software applications simultaneously in a broadcast environment
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience with newsroom computer systems
  • •Minimum 1 year experience with Automated Production Control systems (ROSS OverDrive preferred)
