Key Responsibilities

  • •Deploy, configure, and maintain Tenable Security Center and scanning components on Linux/Red Hat platforms.
  • •Ensure vulnerability management systems meet DISA STIG, NSA, and cybersecurity policy requirements.
  • •Manage credentialed and non-credentialed scans, including schedules, asset groups, and plugin updates.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of related experience and deep technical expertise in vulnerability management and security operations.
  • •Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining vulnerability management tools (including Tenable Security Center) on Linux/Red Hat.
  • •Strong ability to analyze scan results, validate findings, assess severity, and prioritize remediation for mission needs.
  • •Hands-on experience supporting enterprise security tooling and secure hybrid operations across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • •Knowledge of compliance requirements (DISA STIG, NSA guidelines, and organizational cybersecurity policies) and ticketing/POA&M workflows.
