Key Responsibilities

•Build the multimedia AI computing platform for multimodal data processing for foundation model training and real-time AI applications.
•Design and develop high-performance distributed infrastructure including workflow orchestration, task scheduling, resource management, model/operator management, and autoscaling.
•Build cloud-native systems on Kubernetes and optimize orchestration and scheduling for heterogeneous GPU and CPU clusters.
•Improve scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of TikTok’s multimedia processing infrastructure processing billions of videos daily.

Key Requirements

•Completing or having recently completed a Bachelor's/Masters' degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Basic knowledge of computer software, including Linux, storage, and network I/O principles.
•Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, and C++, with knowledge of design patterns and coding principles.
•Strong learning and research abilities, with good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
•Able to commit to an onboarding date by end of 2027 and clearly state availability and graduation date in the resume.
