Oversee deployment and sustainment activities for systems supporting the Southwest Field Office, handling planning, execution, monitoring, documentation, and vendor validation. Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and manage deployment and sustainment activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of system deployments, civil buildouts, and sustainment operations.
•Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols, safety regulations, and technical specifications while coordinating with team members, vendors, and government stakeholders.
•Perform detailed field observations during on-site deployments, monitor progress, identify discrepancies/issues, and ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements.
•Inspect and validate outside vendor work on CBP-owned or leased towers; document deployment notes and prepare comprehensive daily reports.
•Support asset management and logistics activities, including receiving package deliveries, inspecting delivered items, and assisting with escort duties, cargo security, inventory/disposition, forklift support, and vehicle transportation.

Salary: USD 83,157 - 141,617

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years of experience as a tower climber/tower worker, climbing at least 200 ft. for tower maintenance and equipment installation.
•Able to climb towers and structures up to 400 feet high.
•Tower climb certification and ability to complete tower inspections per Tower Industry Association (TIA) 222-G standards (Comtrain Competent Climber/Rescuer or equivalent).
•Capable of identifying issues and risks within deployment plans and managing schedules and resources to meet objectives.
•Well-versed in telecommunication and/or video surveillance technology; able to be certified per OSHA and ANSI/TIA standards.
