Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the Group 5 Mission Autonomy test organization from inception to decommissioning across progressive test environments (SITL, HITL, Flight).
  • •Oversee project test leads and lead test engineers executing test programs for Group 5 MA programs, including customer/third-party engagement support.
  • •Plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple simultaneous test programs with internal and external stakeholders and deconflict shared test resources.
  • •Own test planning processes including test plan approval, test readiness reviews, test data analysis, and test artifact production.
  • •Develop and maintain test mission scenarios, test procedures, test cards/DMOTs, and manage production of customer-facing test reports and validated software deliverables.

Salary: USD 220,000 - 292,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Manage test teams conducting Developmental Test or Operational Test across multiple programs.
  • •Operational experience as a Pilot or CSO/NFO of USAF, USN, or USMC on 4th/5th generation fighter/bomber aircraft or RPAs.
  • •Plan and direct test events with go/no-go decision authority in developmental, operational, or integrated test environments.
  • •Use software development practices and progressive test environments (SITL → HITL → Flight) with systems engineering process knowledge.
  • •Leverage operational experience and technical knowledge to evaluate autonomous system behavior and make decisions when customer requirements are not fully clear.
