Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to design and analysis across mechanical, electrical, software, and civil tracks for various systems and subsystems (TBMs, tunnel infrastructure, data collection tools).
•Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems relevant to tunnels and TBMs.
•Develop automation and data analysis tools to collect, analyze, and visualize data for TBMs and the Las Vegas Loop.
•Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools to prepare civil engineering details, design plans, reports, and exhibits.
•Participate in experiments and optimization tasks to improve tunneling speed, cost, and machine reliability.

Key Requirements

•Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering or a related field.
•Prior experience in mechanical, software, electrical, or construction projects (industry or school).
•Experience with CAD, Solidworks, PLCs, digital electronics, web technologies, or software applications.
•Strong teamwork skills with a proven ability to effectively interact and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
•Acute attention to detail.
