Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage your own EL/PL and RTA caseload of high-value multi-track injury claims.
  • •Assist on complex and higher-value RTA/EL/PL claims, including catastrophic injury matters valued up to and exceeding £1 million.
  • •Advise insurer clients on liability, quantum, indemnity, and litigation strategy.
  • •Draft pleadings and defences and provide technical legal advice.
  • •Work closely with experts, counsel, and insurer clients to achieve the best outcomes and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer, or equivalent relevant defendant injury litigation experience.
  • •Experience handling or assisting with injury claims valued at £500,000+.
  • •A defendant insurance background.
  • •Previous experience with Ogden calculations and significant loss of earnings claims.
  • •Strong knowledge of EL/PL and RTA litigation, including complex liability, quantum, and medical issues.
