Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient operation of the facility.
  • •Evaluate, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and controls across low to high voltage systems and related components.
  • •Diagnose and repair plant electronic, pneumatic, and instrumentation/control systems, including reading electrical diagrams and specifications.
  • •Troubleshoot plant electrical equipment, protection schemes, gauges, PLCs, and alarms; use vendor service manuals as needed.
  • •Participate in major maintenance projects and inspect/monitor third-party contractor work during equipment repair or installation.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or GED, trade school, related military training, or technical training school required.
  • •Minimum five years maintenance experience in power generation or similar industrial facilities.
  • •Knowledge of Safety and Environment rules as they relate to electrical maintenance.
  • •Basic math skills and proficiency with power and precision tools, with good verbal communication.
  • •Working knowledge of CMMS (Maximo preferred) and ability to troubleshoot/diagnose plant electrical and instrumentation systems.
